The fun begins when you decide to make your own homemade devil costume for Halloween. It’s always a little bit fun to be a devil and in this case, you are going to be the cutest devil at that Halloween costume party you are going to.
First make a list of everything you will need to assemble your costume. Red shirt, red pants, red shoes, how red do you want to go? Do you have a mens jacket with tails…or a woman blazer? Wouldn’t that look great with a pair of red stretch pants. All you would need is a white blouse and a glittery red bow tie. A pair of devilishly high heels wouldn’t hurt either.
Or you can just do the devil in sweat pants and a sweat shirt with a set of store bought horns and a tail. Which ever devil you decide on will be fun so just pick one out. Figure out exactly what you need…write a list so you can check off each accessory when you get it. Finally when you have everything you need to assemble your own homemade costume go over your checklist one more time. It almost feels like Santa double checking that Christmas naughty and nice list doesn’t it?
When you have gathered all your materials and double checked that you have everything you need it’s time to call in the troops for help. That’s right, include your family is the costume assembly process. It will be fun for everyone and it’s a great way to spend some quality time with your kids. You might even decide to make lots of homemade devil costumes so your family can have a group costume. Big D…is the dad, Mommy D would be you and then there is Kid D and Baby D…all ready and dressed to go out and have a devilishly good time on Halloween.
This dress up idea is a simple and cheap costume making plan that is fun, easy and will save you lots of money when you compare it to the cost of a store bought costume. It will even be cheaper if you buy the horns, tail and bow tie accessory kit. So whether you make all of your costume or buy some accessories to complete your outfit, you are going to have an original homemade costume at a great cost.
Now enjoy that costume making process with your kids and have a great time on Halloween.
