It is that time again. The time for all the Jordan Retro diehard fans to make themselves heard. Time to express their utter disgust about the news of a new Jordan Spiz’ike shoe release. Time to hear from these folks about the abomination that is a Jordan Hybrid. Just one of the Hybrid’s that Jordan Brand regularly releases and is complete trash. A shoe that goes by the name of “Spiz’ike” and is a result of a lazy shoe design process. A shoe that is a result of taking legendary elements of the sacred Jordan 3,4,5,6,9, and 20’s. A shoe these Retro fanatics insist should never have been created or released.
Well, despite the loud sounds of protest that emanate from this segment of the Jordan shoe community, a new Jordan Spiz’ike will indeed release. And the large segment of the Jordan shoe community that are huge fans of this shoe will be ecstatic. This is definitely a sick looking shoe. The colors that are going to be used on the new Spiz’ike are very similar to those that were used on the iconic Jordan XII “Bordeaux.” This fact alone will cause some intense anger among the traditional Jordan Retro shoe fanatics.
Because of the color scheme that will be used on this shoe, it has already been dubbed the Jordan Spiz’ike “Bordeaux’s.” The upper of the shoe uses White and Dark Charcoal as it’s primary colors. Of course the epic elephant print is also used on the upper and compliments these two colors nicely. Sapphire Blue is used on the inner lining and as accents on the midsole and lacing system. Varsity Red takes care of the laces and portions of the heel cup and outsole. Varsity Maize finishes off the colorway on the upper heel collar tab and Jumpman branding.
The news of the upcoming releases of the Jordan Spiz’ike “Orange” and “Blue” Knicks colorway pack along with this new “Bordeaux’s” colorway will cause outrage among many in the Jordan shoe community. On the other hand, and on a much more positive note, there are going to be just as many Jordanheads that are overcome with joy. The hardcore Jordan shoe fanatics that actually look forward to a Jordan Spiz’ike release won’t have to wait long. This new shoe will release in the early part of 2012. And it will release in spite of being one of the most hated Jordan shoes for basketball. Thank God for that.
