Some tend to like a sexy costume, but then I wouldn’t want my teen daughter to wear anything so provocative. In this day and age Halloween outfits are abundant in many sizes, shapes, colors and characters. Costume ideas are always fun to create whether you start from scratch and make your own outfit, go to your closet and pull out crazy deer hunting shirt or buy online and shop in the costume stores.
If you are looking for kids costumes you might think back to the many children’s movies to come up with ideas or maybe their favorite cartoon character. Maybe your baby has always loved on a precious stuffed animal or makes funny noises to emulate a certain animal or character. You could even make a homemade costume for a Superhero by using a towel or a piece of fabric pinned on the shoulders for a cape. Get some color coordinated tights and a pair of Superhero underpants with a solid colored chicago white sox hawaiian shirt and cut out the emblem for the chest out of paper or fabric and glue it on. Slip on a pair of boots and they are ready for trick or treating. This would work for toddlers and child costumes or even Adult outfits too.
Girl costumes can easily be transformed as you could get a pretty dress out of her closet and doll it up with some shear fabric, put on a tiara and be a princess. With a little makeup your young girl could be the bell of the ball, just make sure she is home by the stroke of midnight!

Including the many new movies and characters we all enjoy like The Cat in the Hat, Avatar, Alice in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter, The Grinch That Stole Christmas, Iron Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, Popeye, all the Disney Characters, you name it. If it is popular, I promise you there is a Halloween Costume made with that character.
